Detectives Seek Information for Theft of Elderly Woman’s Dog NR20067jc

West Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's West Los Angeles Division are asking for the public's help in providing any information in an attempt to locate a stolen dog taken from the vehicle of an elderly woman.

On Thursday, March 5, 2020, approximately 9:30 a.m., the crime was captured on surveillance video as it took place on Sepulveda Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard. The suspect is seen as he opens the victim's car and steals her dog. The suspect is described as a male wearing a red hat, black jacket, and carrying a black backpack.

The dog is named, "Lucy" and is described as a beige terrier mix last seen wearing a red collar.
